This developers class was initiated after LuxTag hold a speech at the UUM University in northern Malaysia. The invitation to the UUM was a result of the participation of NEM & LuxTag at the NASA Space Apps Hackathon 2017 in Kuala Lumpur Central.

Friday afternoon and the full day Saturday, Rene of organised a developer hands-on workshop event, supported by Jimmy of the NEM developer team.

Five postgraduate students from UUM university in Malaysia and two individual developers from Selangor participated and had the chance to do their first API calls and transact on the NEM testnet through simple JavaScript calls.

“Most welcome and also thanks to you, LuxTag and NEM team members for the great discussion and training.” Shafiq Aiman

“I am looking forward to any projects from you.” Athirah Rosli

“Good morning thanks a lot for very nice hospitality. Looking forward to work with NEM and LuxTag group” Shivaleela Arlimatti

LuxTag powered by NEM Blockchain intends to educate interested students and individual developers about the creation of Blockchain-driven applications. Due to the general shortage of specialist manpower in the market of Blockchain developers, we understand that it’s crucial to facilitate education in order to secure human resources for further future growth of our business and the whole sector.

The students were invited as results of Rene Bernards presentation at the UUM university.

Special thanks go to our friend Jimmy from France, without who’s help through projection remote video and screen sharing this session would not have been possible.
