LuxTag takes part in World Blockchain Summit 2019

Last week, LuxTag® attended World Blockchain Summit 2019 in Kuala Lumpur where both CEO Rene Bernard and CFO Faeez M Noor were invited to speak. For this special occasion, members of the LuxTag team including Sami Abuzarifa, Head of Marketing, Adam Mashrique, Chief Innovation Officer and Coralie Lacassagne, Marketing Analyst tagged along to show support and represent LuxTag.

The event kicked off on February 27th and LuxTag CEO, Rene Bernard, took part in a panel discussion about ‘The Legal and Regulatory Landscape of Blockchain in Malaysia and Asia’. For this occasion, he was accompanied by other blockchain experts and notably, Mr. Stan Singh-Jit (Senior Councillor at PIKOM and Founder / Principal Consultant at IronHorse Asia Sdn Bhd) who kindly used LuxTag as an example to reinforce his argument on the implementation of blockchain.

Then, Mr. Bernard presented his views on ‘Blockchain – A moonshot enabler – Technology: Real-world applications of Blockchain technology’ before officially announcing LuxTag’s collaboration with Dagang Net to offer blockchain-based eServices.

On the second day of the event, LuxTag’s CFO, Faeez M Noor participated in a panel discussion on ‘Blockchain Adoption for Enterprise’ alongside other key players from Asia including Calvin Ngo from Consensys, Fadhlan Nik Abdul Aziz from Petronas and Jasmine N from NEM foundation.
