As such, getting the subject of Blockchain into the syllabus of educational institutions is key. With that in mind, NEM’s latest Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Taylor’s University Malaysia is a step towards that goal.

Signed between NEM Southeast Asia Project Director, Lance Cheang and Taylor’s University’s Vice-Chancellor & President, Professor Michael Driscoll, the MoU will see NEM assists Taylor’s University School of Computing and IT (SOCIT) in a couple of areas.

“We see this signing with Taylor’s University as an important step in the adoption of blockchain by future generations and we look forward to extending our reach to the regional education scene with similar partnerships in the future.”
