NEM Crypto Meetup in Cracow

At 19th of July in Cracow, there was another meetup under the Crypto@Cracow banner. Crypto@Cracow organises a series of monthly meetups targeted for specialists that are interested in the blockchain solutions.

This time the guest – Bartłomiej Sanak, was presenting the basics of the NEM platform.

Crypto@Cracow organises a series of monthly meetups targeted for specialists that are interested in the blockchain solutions. This time the guest – Bartłomiej Sanak, was presenting the basics of the NEM platform. The meetup started from distributing 50 paper wallets to first attendees, and those who sent a small transaction to the multisignature account, had an opportunity of taking part in the interactive presentation – creation of a multisignature account.

Topics were diverse: from the introduction to NEM, through consensus algorithms implemented in cryptocurrencies, to some technical topics. Attendees participated in the process of creating multisignature accounts, namespaces, mosaics and apostilles in the NanoWallet. After the presentation, there was plenty of questions about those features in the NEM blockchain, and the most active attendees received NEM’s T-shirts.

To sum up, there was about 130 people visiting the meetup, which lasted more than 2 hours. The meetup was sponsored by Metrosoft, FXmag and the NEM foundation. After the meetup most curious persons met in one of the Cracow’s pub to talk more deeply about solutions offered by the NEM blockchain.
